BakeHouse 24 is a New Forest artisan bakery run by Pete and Jo Billingham, specialising in traditional sourdough methods to produce the finest breads, pastries and cakes.
A member of New Forest Marque, Bakehouse24 works closely with local suppliers to ensure ingredients are ethically sourced and of the highest quality. They’re passionate about baking and producing delicious baked goods of exceptional quality.
A graduate of one of London’s finest bakeries, head baker Pete returned to his hometown of Ringwood with his partner Jo. Their range of bread, cakes and pastries can be enjoyed in their stunning open-plan café while you watch Pete at work.
Bakehouse24 also runs bread-making classes, where you can learn the art of sourdough in a relaxed and friendly environment, and be expertly guided through producing delicious breads that can be easily replicated in your kitchen at home.
For Festival Week, the team is running a workshop on the art of sourdough pizza making. Using traditional methods and locally milled flour, they will guide you through an introduction to sourdough and put your creative skills to the test by making pizzas using a range of toppings provided by fellow New Forest Marque producers.
Run across one evening, this Festival course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to produce delicious sourdough pizzas at home.
Tuesday 1 November, 6:30pm – 9pm
